134 – Get a student drunk
Yet another not-entirely-ethical list thing suggested by a friend, some of whom seem to be trying to get me fired! I work with lots of students so finding a student for this challenge wasn’t going to be too hard but have you ever heard of a student that drinks?! This was going to be a tough one : )
[Disclaimer: I should point that my workplace and I are big fans of sensible drinking and would never encourage binge drinking at all, not even a tiny bit so don’t do it kids]
Anyways, I’m not much of a drinker usually (honest, Mum) and my idea of a good night out is popping to a friend’s house for some cake then back home to bed by 10pm. Recently however I’ve had a couple of random nights out that definitely involved drunk students and late nights. Not only late nights, I might add, but late nights ON A WORK NIGHT (though the second time I did take the next morning off work to catch up on some sleep, I’m definitely getting too old for all that!)
This week I embraced the student lifestyle completely by wearing fancy dress – a Christmas present outfit complete with a stupidly large bow on my head that apparently made me look like Lady Gaga (thanks for that Marcelle) – and heading to the all night diner at 3am.
So far, so rock’n’roll, you might be thinking, but did you complete the challenge? Well yes, I did as it happens, as I’m technically a student again due to my course and (don’t tell anyone) I may have got just the teeniest tiniest bit drunk. Hurrah – another accidental list thing (and a couple of great nights out!)
