I feel I should confess loyal reader, my name is Jo and I am a hoarder. Over the years I’ve built up collections of soaps, novelty pens, pebbles from holidays and all sorts of random junk. Recently I’ve started getting rid of some of the more obviously pointless things (often by fobbing them off onto other people – special thanks must go to my Mum and friend Em who are too polite to tell me they don’t want the random bags of things I’ve offered them).

It’s been another exciting week at List Towers this week (List Towers being a fancy way of saying ‘my sofa’) with my list idea travelling halfway across the world to New Zealand. Paul Gardner has decided to start his own version of my silly challenge, creating a ‘bucket list’ of things he’d like to do (though has quite sensibly not put a deadline on it). In his introductory post he cites my blog as part of his inspiration which is very cool. I’m wondering if this sort of thing could be my ‘teach someone something’ thing so might put together a guide to making your own list. What do you reckon?

Because I thought my list should include some super nice things that might make the world a teeny tiny bit better rather than just being silly things relating largely to knitting, I thought I’d set myself a charity fundraising target. £250 seemed like a nicely relevant round number so hey presto, another list thing was born!
